This is a lovely cot, easy to put together and very sturdy. I also like that it has a plastic guard over the wood so little teeth can’t damage it. The reason for three stars was the delivery time. I ordered this on 4th January and didn’t arrive until 21st, I could have gone to a store and got one much faster.
Nanty –
Although the delivery was not good – 3rd party delivery obo Dunelm, so down to courier – the mini cotbed itself was very well packaged, although assembly instructions weren’t included. Top marks to Obaby customer service, who i contacted via email to query lack of instructions and also number of screws etc, as when i looked online the contents differed. Obaby rang and left an explanatory voicemail very next day, plus follow-up email with all the info i needed, and were so helpful. I’d found the incorrect version online, hence tool contents were different.
Cot was very easy to put together, would be easier with 2 people, but managed single-handedly. Feels perfectly sturdy once built, and looks really neat. I was worried with it being a mini cotbed that it would be too small to last very long growth-wise, but its a lovely size – compact enough to fit nicely when space is a bit tight, but also looks like it has plenty of growing room as baby gets bigger when it can be converted to use as a little bed. Very happy with purchase, think its very good value for the price, and would recommend. Baby hasnt slept in it yet, but im sure when they visit it will be just the job!
