As good as they looked. Robust and well-made, with complicated-looking instructions that are actually clear and easy to follow if you take the time. Very pleased with these, especially at the price. I mindlessly accepted the automatically suggested mattresses but, although these are good, I would in hindsight have selected something thinner to fit below the footboard. One other thing, the delivery men were fantastically helpful.

Bought this for my daughter who is starting school this year and she is delighted with her ‘big girl bed’ – and the shelf it comes with. It’s quite heavy, but when put together feels very solid and sturdy. Happy with the purchase.

The wood is solid and much heavier than my daughter’s previous bed. Took quite a while to put together as the head is made of about six separate pieces. It is possible to put together by a single person but the boxes are very heavy when delivered and need two people to carry, or to be unpacked before taking upstairs. The back of the head panel is not fully finished, showing the bolts etc. So needs to be against a wall. We had to cut an inch off the trundle bed we already had to make it fit underneath, clearance length aprox 190cm.
