I was looking for a compact, comfortable bench with good storage for a very narrow dressing room. This was the only bench I found which was upholstered, looked elegant and maximised storage whilst being very slim (and a decent height, many shoe benches are too low for comfort). It is extremely practical and manages to be both luxurious and unobtrusive at the same time. Comfort is ok but not super due to the cavity below the seat, but it’s fine for a few minutes sitting and I would rather have the extra storage. The inside cavity is quite narrow but still useful. Very happy and worth the extra cost. Delivery was great – the young man took it upstairs for us which I thought was kind.

Solid, ready assembled, shoe rack and storage, had a small crease in top cushion but not bad enough to be bothered returning to store for.
