There was an initial inconvenience of waiting an extra week because the bed couldn’t be delivered as it had been damaged. But when the bed did finally arrive I was quite impressed. It was relatively easy to put together. If you’ve done flat pack before it’s simple and there’s not too many parts. My daughter helped and she’s never built furniture before, but even she thought it was easy! It’s not the best quality pine bed but it looks very smart (for the price) and is solid.

I chose this because other reviews said it was sturdy and other makes I researched seemed to have construction flaws. This bed frame is absolutely solid with no movement whatsoever. It’s all solid wood and straight forward to assemble and I’m confident it will last years.

Lovely solid bed frame despite taking awhile to assemble due to us both being in our 80s and laughing about us being laid out on the floor together and struggling to get up while laughing about it. Well worth the effort though!
