6 cups shredded cabbage (or 1 bag coleslaw mix)
1 cup shredded carrots (optional)
1 cup chopped dill pickles
1/2 cup mayo
2 tbsp pickle juice
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp honey (or sugar)
1–2 tbsp hot sauce
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp black pepper
Add cabbage and carrots to a bowl. Optional: salt 10 minutes, then drain.
Chop pickles into small pieces.
Whisk mayo, pickle juice, Dijon, honey, hot sauce, garlic powder, and pepper.
Toss slaw mix with pickles and dressing until coated.
Chill 30 minutes for best flavor.
Stir and serve cold.
Make it spicier with jalapeños or cayenne.
