• Yellow cake mix
• 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 1 cup corn syrup
• 3 eggs
• 1 cup melted butter
• 1 tablespoon vanilla
• Optional spices: cinnamon, nutmeg
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Grease a 9×13 baking dish.
Mix eggs, brown sugar, corn syrup, vanilla, and melted butter. Add pecans.
Pour filling into dish.
Sprinkle cake mix on top.
Pour melted butter over the cake mix.
Bake 45–55 minutes until golden.
Cool before serving.
Serve warm with ice cream. Add chocolate chips for variation.
