1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
4 slices thick-cut bacon, chopped
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp maple syrup (plus 1 tbsp extra for glazing)
Salt and pepper, to taste
Optional: chopped pecans, balsamic glaze
Preheat oven to 425°F.
Toss Brussels sprouts with olive oil, maple syrup, bacon, salt, and pepper.
Spread on baking sheet and roast 20 minutes, stirring halfway.
Drizzle with extra maple syrup and serve.
Roast at high heat for caramelized edges. Serve immediately for best texture.
