Loaded Bacon Cheeseburger Pasta: Introduction and Quick Summary

  • 12 oz pasta (penne or elbow macaroni)

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 6 slices bacon, cooked & chopped

  • 1 small onion, diced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1 cup shredded cheddar

  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella

  • ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp pepper, ½ tsp paprika

  • Optional toppings: chives, extra cheese, pickles

Instructions

  • Cook pasta, drain, and reserve ½ cup pasta water.

  • Cook bacon until crispy, chop.

  • Brown beef, drain fat, season.

  • Sauté onion and garlic.

  • Reduce heat, stir in cream and cheese until smooth.

  • Add pasta, bacon, beef, and toss. Adjust sauce with pasta water if needed.

  • Serve warm with toppings.
