12 oz pasta (penne or elbow macaroni)
1 lb ground beef
6 slices bacon, cooked & chopped
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup shredded cheddar
½ cup shredded mozzarella
½ tsp salt, ½ tsp pepper, ½ tsp paprika
Optional toppings: chives, extra cheese, pickles
Cook pasta, drain, and reserve ½ cup pasta water.
Cook bacon until crispy, chop.
Brown beef, drain fat, season.
Sauté onion and garlic.
Reduce heat, stir in cream and cheese until smooth.
Add pasta, bacon, beef, and toss. Adjust sauce with pasta water if needed.
Serve warm with toppings.
