Garlic Butter Smash Burgers: Juicy, Flavorful, and Irresistible

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20)

  • 4 tsp butter (divided, with 2 tsp garlic butter)

  • 4 burger buns

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 4 slices cheese (optional)

  • Toppings: lettuce, tomato, pickles, sauces

Instructions

  • Divide beef into 4 balls. Season.

  • Heat skillet, add butter, smash patties.

  • Cook 2-3 minutes, flip, add cheese, cook 1-2 minutes.

  • Toast buns with garlic butter.

  • Assemble and serve immediately.

Notes

Do not press after flipping. Look for crispy edges.
