Easy Amish Christmas Jam: A Simple Homemade Holiday Treat

  • 4 cups fresh cranberries

  • 2 cups chopped apples

  • 2 cups granulated sugar

  • 2 tbsp lemon juice

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • ½ tsp ground cloves

  • 1 tbsp pectin (optional)

Instructions

  • Wash and chop fruit.

  • Combine fruit and sugar in a large pot. Cook 10–15 minutes.

  • Add lemon juice and spices. Simmer 20–25 minutes until thick.

  • Pour into sterilized jars, leaving ¼ inch headspace. Seal and cool.

Notes

Stir frequently to prevent sticking. For a thicker jam, add pectin.
