4 cups fresh cranberries
2 cups chopped apples
2 cups granulated sugar
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp cinnamon
½ tsp ground cloves
1 tbsp pectin (optional)
Wash and chop fruit.
Combine fruit and sugar in a large pot. Cook 10–15 minutes.
Add lemon juice and spices. Simmer 20–25 minutes until thick.
Pour into sterilized jars, leaving ¼ inch headspace. Seal and cool.
Stir frequently to prevent sticking. For a thicker jam, add pectin.
