Cowboy Mushrooms: Hearty, Savory, and Full of Flavor

  • 500g mushrooms, sliced

  • 2 tbsp butter or olive oil

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 small onion, chopped (optional)

  • 1 tsp fresh thyme or parsley

  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • Heat butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.

  • Sauté onion for 2-3 min, then garlic for 30 sec.

  • Add mushrooms, cook 8-10 min until browned.

  • Season with salt, pepper, and herbs. Cook 1-2 more min.

  • Serve warm.
