Cottage Cheese Garlic Naan: Soft, Fluffy, and Full of Flavor

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour

  • ½ tsp baking powder

  • ½ tsp baking soda

  • ½ tsp salt

  • 2 tbsp yogurt

  • ¼ cup water

  • ½ cup cottage cheese

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tbsp melted butter/ghee

  • Optional: chopped cilantro

Instructions

  • Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, yogurt, and water into a soft dough. Rest 20 min.

  • Mash cottage cheese, garlic, salt, and cilantro for filling.

  • Divide dough, stuff with filling, seal, and roll gently.

  • Cook in medium skillet 2-3 min per side until golden. Brush with butter.

  • Serve warm.

Notes

  • Keep naan soft by covering with a towel after cooking.

  • Try variations with herbs, spices, or different cheeses.
