1 lb potato gnocchi
6 slices bacon, chopped
1 medium onion, diced
2 garlic cloves, minced
3 tbsp flour
4 cups chicken broth
1 cup heavy cream
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Salt, pepper, paprika to taste
Cook bacon until crispy, drain, reserve fat.
Sauté onion and garlic in bacon fat.
Stir in flour, cook 1-2 min.
Gradually add broth and cream, simmer.
Add gnocchi, cook 3-5 min.
Stir in cheese until smooth.
Top with bacon and extra cheese. Serve warm.
Don’t overcook gnocchi. Adjust seasoning to taste. Add veggies if desired.
